Stop Five: Growing Your Knowledge Base

Welcome back. We are now going to discuss the third panel that appears on the "Home" screen. As you read earlier, this panel only appears after some type of search has been performed.
This Submit a Question to the Knowledge Base panel allows users to request additional information on knowledge base topics, request clarification on specific articles, request answers to questions not covered in the knowledge base, etc. It allows public users the opportunity to help you grow your knowledge base.
When a question is submitted, the user is prompted to enter a title, a description of the question in the text field, and contact information so that they can be notified with an appropriate response. The question will be routed to a knowldge base user (Editor) with the ability to turn these questions into knowledge base articles.
These user suggestions can help you to make your knowledge base more effective for your publc users.
